I never understood it. Even when people ripped on Obama for it, like you said, it's fresh air, walking, exercise, sunlight. You can still walk, think things out and talk with advisors while getting the blood flowing and remaining human.

Shit I'd rather a President that gets a few rounds in and feels refreshed mentally than one who sits in the Oval Office all day and let's his mind go stale.
