January 14, 2021, HHS announced guidelines that will ease the requirements related to medically assisted treatment for opioid use disorder. This basically made treatment more readily available. HHS just sent out a memo that the decision in the previous guidelines were premature and would not be implemented. That’s not even logical. Democrats claim to be the party of helping others and supporting treatment for drug abuse. Why would this not be supported? I mean I get why but this is going to redpill a lot of libs.
