Agree. They are also the most unhealthy places for our parents and grandparents. They have sub-par food (processed food with aspartame and msg), frequent immunizations, poor air ventilation, little outside exposure to fresh air and sunshine, little time with guests and family visits. Now with covid, the lockdown is treated like solitary confinement...isn't that considered torture?

I've seen families inheritance completely wiped out by a short stays (6 mths-1 year) in a nursing home.
