Most psychopaths have a thing for protecting children/animals.
The writing of the TV show character "Tony Soprano" really highlighted this. In one of the later episodes, he kills one of his own "soldiers" because the asshole burned down a horse stable to win a bet on a race. Tony had a horse there, was so upset he killed the guy with roach spray.
Many people behind bars will also kill PEDO's. No questions asked. Hurting the innocent is a crime that not all criminals are even up for.
