Gov Abbott was really sneaky with it, though. You can't be criminally prosecuted for not wearing one. And there are medical exemptions. And he left churches alone lol My church was full this past Sunday and I saw less than ten people wearing masks out of the several hundred people that were there.
Nope. The lockdown got lifted in May I believe. But then we got a mask mandate that has no end in sight. It's ridiculous.
I am all about Texit. I've been saying since the election took place that The Republic of Texas Part II was my backup plan lol
I am hoping it doesn't come to that and the plan kicks in. If they can get it passed, we will vote on it in November. So I figure that gives plenty of time to see what's what. Hopefully, all will be restored by then. If not, I'm voting YES. Texas has always felt like its own country, anyway lol We even have our own electric grid just so we can leave the Union whenever we want to. That was thinking ahead :)
