Ever watch PJ Masks? Every episode has the same plot. One of the kids starts to display some form of "wrong think". The other two kids then 'gently' beat him/her back into submission. The "bad" kid then repents and everyone is happy.
The antithesis of this would be if two of the kids didn't have a clue to what was going on, but tge other one did. And he/she would fight the entire episode trying to get the other two to understand. At the end, the ignorant kids would finally get it and everyone is happy.
This. Not every force but yes, I remember Scotland Yard got sued by someone who scored too high on his testing or whatever. The judge dismissed it basically saying they can set whatever parameters they choose for qualifications. ??
FACT - If you met that man in a Wendys and started up a conversation you wouldn't want him having any influence over a birthday party let alone the execution of law.
FACT - They look for people with low IQ's who have a tendency to be bullies.

Yup, they've been doing this for decades. Cops take a test, and cannot have an IQ higher than a certain limit.
