So I decided to order a pillow from him to help him out after he has been pulled from several stores lately and got this back today.

So looks the post I was reading suggesting to help him out worked, great news.
Really heartwarming to see the support you have given him.
Have seen similar things happen over past few years in Australia... Big grocery drops a supplier and pissed off customers avoid them and instead shop at only local supermarket who keeps stocking them, ending up with empty shelves whenever they were restocked. Company still going strong.
In another case, a big icecream supplier pulled a old but popular icecream from their range, again locals went out of their way to support the business buying tub upon tub of icecream. Which I must admit was far better than what the big wigs were peddling.
Holden/GMH closed down their prodction in Australia after being one of the two big players for many mamy years. Pissed off locals shunned their vehicles in droves resulting in closure of most of their caryards.
But they dont get that pissing off your loyal customers can have a far bigger effect to your bottom line than the few dollars saved by an obnoxious business decision.
