Your assumption and/or misunderstanding of both verses I provided in thinking that they inspire a spirit or disposition of complacency says much more about you.
It’s not sufficient for us to believe in Jesus Christ, but we must also call out and proclaim Him our Lord & Savior.

Who can free the slave/captive?
Who in bondage can remove their own shackles?
None.
The only way is through God.
God doesn’t come crawling to you and say kick your feet up, and I’ll take care of everything. Just lay back and live a perfect happy life.
But He is the start. He is the foundation that ALL else is built upon.
It takes ACTION to take the all important first step. And then the action continues each and every day of our lives.
Your need to constantly combat my posting of scripture says all. Not one of the verses mentions complacency or inaction.
Yet you argue on, and state boldly that you ain’t waiting around for some passive God or mumbojumbo from 2k years ago.
Jesus is the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Him.
Doing it right takes major action, and daily. I pray you come to this realization, and soon.
