One of my best friends from childhood claimed something no one believed but me. She was diagnosed with Lyme in her late twenties and suffered with her mental health and also physical health. Her marriage deteriorated due to her husband not believing she had a real disease. She started an emotional affair with a guy she met online in a Lymes disease forum. Once divorced, she pursued a Long distance relationship with him. It was after she slept with him strange things started happening to her. She started hearing evil voices in her head. She did some online digging and found a YouTube video of him practicing the occult, sent it to her sister who also was like wtf. Right after she confronted him, the video disappeared and he started slandering her online. He was from Oklahoma and his online presence was that of a Trump loving Christian. She ended up hating Trump because of this dude. She was convinced something happened to her when they were intimate. She never fully recovered mentally. Really went down hill, fast. She had all the conspiracy theories happening to her. She thought she was gang stalked, that she had the mark of the beast, CRISPR tech in her, a chip planted behind her ear, etc. She thought her hair was as turning into metal antennas so she would pull out each hair one at a time, and eventually chunks missing. She was constantly being bombarded with evil voices telling her to kill herself, making sexual comments as she undressed her daughter for a bath. She eventually jumped from a bridge. And survived, only to be a paraplegic, confined to a wheel chair the rest of her life. She confided in me because I played a long, but also because it was kind of plausible to me. She was super smart, was a well paid nurse right out of college, beautiful, kind, and so easy going. It was so out of character for her to be this way. This dude was preying on women in the Lymes disease forums, she was told he used the same line on another friend she who was on the forum. In what I knew about the spiritual war, I wondered what exactly is mental illness? Is it not probably a demonic possession in a way? She maybe had some vulnerabilities and attracted evil spirits, especially after meeting that guy, who may have been a satanist. Her sister also thought he had something to do with it.

Anyway, I do wonder about the low level satanists. As well as what do we even know about “mental illness” I know in tribal communities throughout the world, if you start hearing voices, they hand you over to the local shaman and you’re considered gifted. They’re taught to harness the gift and shield themselves from evil spirits. In our society we drug them up with pharmaceutical poison. Maybe these drugs allow the evil spirits to penetrate to our realm more easily.

Who the fuck knows. All I know is my friend is a victim in the spiritual war. I pray God wins soon!
