I'm not buying it that Reddit users don't care if they lose money. I believe they jumped on board this 'train' to make a quick buck, and when the stock starts falling, there will be tears. I've played in the markets myself, and it feels great when the prices go up ... not so great when bubbles burst ...
Rule #1: don’t invest money you can’t afford to lose.
Of course there will be tears. Welcome to the stock market. This time, however, the group getting screwed isn’t just the little guy. That’s what’s unusual about this all. And watching daddy gov come to these faggots rescue is very telling to normies.
I know a couple of people who bought Game Stop stock knowing full well they would probably lose. But it was worth it to them for sticking it to the Hedge Fund Boys.
Sure, not everyone has money to lose. There may be some who are doing this to make some money. But a few stocks bought here and there from little guys can do a whole world of hurt to the cabal.
Time to bring the CB's Dark Temple down. If that's what wakes up people so be it. I trust in God to provide and help me be strong for whatever may come. We all have lessons to learn here on earth. My soul is more important than making a profit and keeping a sick system in place.
I bought 2 shares at $330, because I like the stock and I accepted tasty I may lose it all. This is part of something bigger. What is my retirement account worth anyway, if we fall under global communism.?
It may have began for some as a way for bored, stuck-at-home individuals to earn some extra cash. But with each doubling-down of the hedge funds to short ladder the stocks, and for every smear article, it reminds us of what our parents and friends went through in the '08 crash.
I've got my hand in the cookie jar, and in all honesty probably more than I should have, but money has never been a big importance to me. I feel for a lot of us this is our last stand to legally devastate the corporations who played fickly with the lives of so many.
As I stated somewhere else, we're the generation whose pension plan is to die before retirement, and we have nothing but time and unrelenting fury.
Well good luck to you! I'm already retired and need to survive 30-40 years on my savings, so I have to be careful with my money! I did buy shares of Gilead (maker of Remdesevir) when it first got emergency use authorization in April, and it promptly dropped from 85 to about 65 today ...

I’m a redditor. I bought. I’m holding as long as it takes. Also a millennial (on the older side).
