I have an IQ of "roughly" 148. Two tests were 156 and 158. But my head is that of a normal "human" shape & size. That's a fair bit higher than most of the rest of the world. What does they say about me?
It says you need validation. There are a number of high IQ individuals you could have referenced instead of yourself as perfect examples of your point, but you used it as a platform to self promote.
To save you some time, there is no way to state a ‘high IQ’ without coming across as pretentious.
If someone says "I have a shoe size of 16" would he come across as pretentious?
Would people with size 9.5 feel inferior enough to call such a person "pretentious"?
There’s a huge difference between stating the size of your feet and posting an IQ.
It’s not about being offended, surely you must know that. For example, and I only state this example as it is relevant to my point, I have what would be considered a high IQ and graduated with a 4.0 from college. I am also mid way through a second bachelors degree.
My point is that stating any of this to you doesn’t add to my argument, in fact, it weakens it. Nobody cares and stating my ‘qualifications’ in that way comes across as pretentious.

If someone has a high IQ and someone else is offended by it, then so be it. http://www.subzin.com/s/i'm+surrounded+by+idiots
