I so hate telegram and anything else that you have to download and install shit to access.
People have enough shit on their computers that may or may not be secure and that may or may not be with/without backdoors........................
Telegram is just getting flack now because it's where conservatives have retreated to. I've been using it for years as an alternative to texting and it's rock solid. Also the security is top notch, it's been used by people living in communist countries to avoid monitoring for a long time and is how the CCP member list leak was originally shared.
Not familiar enough with android to be confident about my ability to remain secure and anonymous on that OS.
Was going to get the librem5 but that turned out to be not so much vaporware as it was turdware(comically short battery life and barely enough performance to run basic phone and text services...)
Hopefully the GABphone will be less of a let down...
