Be careful with generalizations in your comments, please. I love and respect many police officers who are friends and relatives. There are a few bad apples in every bunch, but that thin blue line protects you and me. I have a cousin who works for both the sheriff's department and from that department is a part of Homeland Security. Don't disrespect him or others like him. If you do, you might as well go fight with Antifa or BLM. We don't need you on this side of the war. Sorry, but I get a little sensitive about this. We forget how many lives they save. We forget that they run toward danger and not away from it. We don't realize that when they tell us to crouch down and stay low, they stand up and make themselves a target to keep us from being the target. If you see an officer today, thank him or her. Chances are they or someone else they know has saved a life of someone you know or someone that someone knows. God bless our officers, and thank you families for your sacrifice, some the ultimate sacrifice. We honor you and your families today and every day, and we pray God's hand of protection and His comfort and peace over you.
