The Burmese constitution is a power sharing arrangement between the political class and the military, with each keeping checks on the other. Aung San Suu Kii derived a lot of her power and support from human trafficking and the international cabal support she received as a result of that. The Burmese military's moves to end this practice was basically a political move to weaken her.
It is important you understand the motivations of the players. The military absolutely would have ended this practice, even though paradoxically they were the ones who started it many years ago. Aung San Suu Kii's NLD party was seriously declining in popularity among the people. The military were gaining in strength. An important aspect of her power base was the supply of children she could supply the international cabal from the stateless Rohingya. To keep this support, she needed to maintain and expand the influence of the NLD party.
So, like any corrupt, increasingly unpopular politician, she cheated. And much like the USA, it wasn't just the Smartmatic voting software. It was a concerted, systematic effort to rig the outcome of the election. It is a complex situation that requires understand the political player involved.
But the fact that the human trafficking pipelines have been put in check, at least for a short while, is a good thing. I can't say I am sorry to see the Burmese military take the action they did.
Wow thank you for that.
there is also an archive of anti slavery efforts in the link below. http://www.gvnet.com/humantrafficking/Burma.htm
In James C. Scott's "The Art of Not Being Governed", he outlines the standard template for the formation of a civilization, and in all (or nearly all?) cases, slavery is a necessary component. Our natural inclination favours freedom and self-reliance, so force is required to get us to cooperate with "their" plan. Civilization then gets the P.R. treatment and is packaged and promoted as being for the benefit of mankind and far superior to our "caveman" origins.
