I'm actually very new to really looking at scripture. I got Baptized in November so I am a newborn of sorts.
From what i have read and understood this far there is no church but between us and God directly. Anything asking me to be subservient when the Old Testament was so focused on "God's Nation" in the most literal sense being completely left out of the New Testament, as you pointed out, is a thing.
I am so cautious now of what to read as The Word etc it's been a mind check.
I absolutely have studied many religions and takes.
It’s wild how much overlap there is regarding common things even as simple as diet / fasting, focusing on priority that means vs empty effort leading to misery, and specifics on how leading to simplicity in joy is the only path.
I go back to what Jesus said:
Luke 16:22 (NIV)
“The time came when the beggar died and the angels carried him to Abraham’s side. The rich man also died and was buried.
I can’t help but see my whole life those with money miserable. Possessions take the place of true value.
The similarities and truly numerous as you have described.
Those similarities were used by myself for years as observation it was all an imaginary sky God scenario.
Now - it’s like Q posts “How many times until mathematically impossible”
I have personally experienced so many close calls, complete graces in timing, etc that it’s impossible I just somehow made it through.
Humoring that atheism was false started for me at a pub if all places next to Rice University. Researchers from around the world in archeology etc would end up drinking and talking with me and - regularly - perplexed and dumbfounded because their discoveries routinely showed divine intervention of some sort.
What stuck out was one day I was speaking with some of them and they came to a consensus that “all of these interventions as they called them - were pious and positive.” Leading the way was biologists working in manotech. Rice btw has a completely dark defense nanotechnology research wing. They were the most animate and shocked.
Good points.

I appreciate the conversation, btw. Thank you.
I'd recommend studying all religious scriptures.
Q does state that they want us divided by religion.
I take that to mean, all religions have a piece of the
puzzle and they all should be studied.
I appreciate your openness to debate and question where the truth lies.
Thank You.

Ive found many parallels with many religions.
The Sumerians have many myths that resemble the OT.
Noah's Ark = Epic of Gilgamesh
Cain and Able = Enkimdu and Dumuzid - Inana Chooses the Farmer
The story of Moses = The Sargon Legend
The Greek/Roman Myths
(To many to mention)
Egyptian
Frued argues that Moses was Akhenaten's Priest
Anubis and the Archangel Michael both weigh souls
Sumerian Proverb I
1.15 Wealth is far away, poverty is close at hand.
1.16 He who possesses many things is constantly on guard.
1.17 Possessions make trust of crucial importance.
1.18 Possessions are flying birds -- they never find a place to settle.
1.19 Good fortune reinforces organisation and wisdom.
