Mike Pompeo is speaking like he's still SecState. Why?

Why did neither Pompeo nor Pence attend Trump's departure? Maybe because they knew he wasn't departing for good?

If there's one other person I trust besides Trump and Pence, that would be Pompeo.

trump has always made an effort to get along with people... even people he doesn't like. he got along with the clintons once upon a time

although im open to thinking pence is /ourguy/, trump thanking him is weak rationale and not enough
