That's what I thought as well when I first viewed this. My signature originally was in perfect angled cursive. Now, I sign so many documents in the course of a week, that it has a much more hurried appearance today.
At least that's what I believed until the end of last week when my wife and I had dinner with two friends, one of which is a detective with 21 years experience and also a handwriting expert (which she developed as part of her job).
She had me write out four or five ways I have signed my name over the past. So I did my various signatures as they have evolved over forty years. Then she proceeded to point out how there are certain forms within all my signatures that haven't changed at all over forty years - maybe in look but not in the form I wrote those letters.
So I then asked her to look at the image of the two Biden signatures and give me her opinion and she said, very matter-of-factly, those are not signatures from the same person and the two dead give aways were the "B" in Biden and it's connection to the "i" next. She then went into a bit of explanation how she knew they were from different people, which is too much to recall here, but suffice it to say my opinion has changed after someone I respect who is an expert in the matter convinced me otherwise.
