Yeah, it's like some sort of bizarre projectionism. I always say that Alinsky, love him or hate him, had it right on the money. ALWAYS accuse your opponents of the things that you're guilty of, and then gaslight everyone around you to make it so when the other party says "Actually it's YOU who are guilty!", you have a convenient crowd that will rush to your defense.

Once this cycle starts, it becomes an increasingly aggressive whirlwind of fingerpointing. The left has done considerable damage to the collective psyche of the country. This is exactly why you can't tell people about all these crimes. You have to SHOW them, because words will fail to penetrate the hardened mind.
