The deepfake stuff was invented and designed purely as an attempt to escape legal liability when the really nasty stuff comes out that will enrage the world.

Its like deciding to fabricate millions of pieces of evidence and scatter these all over when you know there is evidence out there tying you to a crime.. trying to hide in all the noise and behind all the decoys.
