So, was watching NCAA Div2 wrestling on ESPN the other day. The guys would go at it ... no mask. Sweating, Breathing, sometimes bleeding on each other. At the end of the match, if you have ever seen a high school or college wresting match, the guys shake hands. It's a sign of sportsmanship and respect. Nope ... not this time. They did a 'fist bump'. I looked up why. NCAA rules prohibit athletes from shaking hands due to the Covid. No shit. You can't make that shit up.
THIS IS NOT ABOUT SAFETY.
THIS IS ABOUT CONTROL.
I was at my daughter's swim meet yesterday. After every race, some kid in a mask would go around and disinfect every starting block! Yet the swimmers just step up on the starting block and IMMEDIATELY JUMP INTO 1,000,000 GALLONS OF DISINFECTANT!
I dunno. Alot can happen on that flight from the block to when they hit the water.
