So, was watching NCAA Div2 wrestling on ESPN the other day. The guys would go at it ... no mask. Sweating, Breathing, sometimes bleeding on each other. At the end of the match, if you have ever seen a high school or college wresting match, the guys shake hands. It's a sign of sportsmanship and respect. Nope ... not this time. They did a 'fist bump'. I looked up why. NCAA rules prohibit athletes from shaking hands due to the Covid. No shit. You can't make that shit up.
THIS IS NOT ABOUT SAFETY.
THIS IS ABOUT CONTROL.
Today my silver was delivered by ups, I asked if I got to sign for it, He said no. They aren’t allowed to have us sign anymore. They write Covid on the sign pad instead. I did ask if they confirm someone actually gets the package before signing off on it, and he said he does. Fun times
Oh and the give us your tracking information to enter a Dmv, that one was also a fun new “rule.” Popping up all the time.
