So, was watching NCAA Div2 wrestling on ESPN the other day. The guys would go at it ... no mask. Sweating, Breathing, sometimes bleeding on each other. At the end of the match, if you have ever seen a high school or college wresting match, the guys shake hands. It's a sign of sportsmanship and respect. Nope ... not this time. They did a 'fist bump'. I looked up why. NCAA rules prohibit athletes from shaking hands due to the Covid. No shit. You can't make that shit up.

That, and it is just another demonstration of the folly of central command and control micromanagement. What matters is the edict, not whatever goal the edict was intended to accomplish.
