I totally agree with your thought process, and it's one I've thought about too. Many of the proofs can rely on peoples interpretation of course, which is why I mentioned the photographs? Surely they are a lot harder to mis-interpret?

Would the military allow the country it is supposed to defend watch as it is overthrown? Sure some of the top brass may well be either paid off or blackmailed, but all of them? I hope not.
