My son is a USMC Major - has been stationed at the Barracks & trained to be a White House escort back in the day ...he says there is nothing to this. Nothing at all.

Well, you can believe what you want but he was stationed at the Barracks during the Obama inauguration and did plenty of ceremonies at the White House and with dignitaries. I tend to believe a Marine that has first hand knowledge and training...but hey...I’m sure you know better. Geez
