Before I started commenting I asked the mods whether it was okay for my username to be a website and for me to occasionally mention things like Swamp Rangers having an advocacy Gab group. Their response was "Looks cool, just observe the sidebar, be high-effort, high-info, and be civil Thanks for asking, welcome". I didn't see your contribution, but spamming links about yourself is usually easily distinguished from alluding to yourself in a broad context.

This is a volunteer movement. Maybe approaching with a positive attitude, contributing research and info directly related to Q or an immediately current event, and not starting a topic if it's not responsive to one of those two things would all help.
