Trump Tower prices rise to $1,200 on the March 4th?

I heard someone say that the price for spending the night at Trump Towers would go from $600 to $1200 on the 4th of March. Is that true?

Yup! I went and checked it out a week ago. Not only that, but the majority of high end hotels in that area all have raised their prices for that date. I’m thinking about calling to ask what it is that’s happening that’s causing the price to increase by so much.

*if you go to a local DC event calendar there is nothing significant going on for the 4th.
