Not gonna happen. The NG is there for optics. Nothing more. Besid a, the NG doesn't have any police powers when it comes to round up insurrectionists. That responsibility falls to the USMC.
The NG have live rounds down there. And whichever ones were deputized can make arrests. Interesting fact: typically, or at least in the instances I know of, most of the time when NG are are deployed domestically, they don't get live ammo-- unless you count rubber bullets (I do not). DC is a different story. They were given live rounds. Maybe not all, but for sure some.
