RE politics: voting is literally only ONE part of politics, and honestly, one of the LEAST effective parts.

There is so much more that happens "behind the scenes" but really in direct sunlight. You just don't know it because the news tells you to ignore it, or makes it seem like you are powerless.

Go to school board meetings. Or your city park commission meetings. Go to your HOA board meetings! Go be a part of the sausage making process!
