Never seen a meteor before? Then you missed out! Nothing is better than laying in an empty field far away from the city watching a meteor shower.

Anyways, they don't always goes across of the sky. Sometime they appear to come up from the horizon and fizzle out overhead. This is due to the curvature of the Earth.
