At no point in the Bible are we instructed to offer up prayer to anyone besides God.

Praying to angels, saints, images, or idols is an un-Biblical tradition that appears no place in scripture. Jesus modeled prayers and it wasn't to angels or saints, it was to God.

Pray to God (The Father, The Son, or The Holy Spirit) and GOD dispatches angels.
