I went to DC on 6th. Came back home and had Covid-19 symptoms by the 8th, chest was tightening up, started getting that "click/wheeze" in upper respiratory tract. Feeling fatigue, low grade fever, headache.
Already knew about Ivermectin from years ago. Use it on my herds every few months. Always used the brand BIMECTIN, Apple Gel Paste. Comes in a syringe (no needle). Filled with paste. Meant for horses, the syringe plunger is tick marked with 250 pound doses. Very easy to measure how much you need.
I squeezed out an initial 250 pound dose of the apple gel. Tossed it back into my throat and gulped it down. You don't want to "eat it", its very Vaseline feeling texture. Just flick the gel dose into the back of your mouth and swallow. Have a glass of milk ready to swig down in case the gel gets into your mouth, taste kinda bad and yeah...
So I took the first dose, waited a couple hours, went to bed. I woke up the next day, ZERO chest issues. Still had a low grade fever around 99, remained in bed and quarantined myself as to not get the rest of the family sick. Spent maybe 3-4 days in bed watching TV, sleeping a LOT. On the 3rd day, took a second follow up dose of the Bimectin (Ivermectin), again a 250 pound measured dose, apple gel for horses. By day 5, I was 99%. The ONLY lingering symptom I had, was a thick upper/back sinus drainage that was sticking to the sides of my throat. It would slowly slide down into my throat and form a large enough mass of it, I had to "hock it up" like a loogey. That lasted about 10 days? Then that went away, now I have zero issues, never lost my taste.
The Ivermectin seemed to instantly halt whatever was happening with my upper respiratory/lungs. Never got a cough, never got ANY infection. Seems to me like I had initial damage from the virus, and then whatever cells were damaged prior to the Ivermectin had to be removed, repaired/replaced. That took 4-5 days.
TLDR; Ivermectin works, Tractor Supply > Bimectin Apple Gel Paste for Horses. Measures out in 250 pound doses. Take 1 initial dose, then 2-3 days later a follow up dose of 250 pounds. You should be cured within a week or less.
Can continue to take a 250 pound dose once ever 6 weeks as an effective preventative against future contraction. Continue as you tolerate it. Research more information as it is coming out daily for more accurate information.
A cure that’s not worse than the disease.
Be careful with the paste, we used to give it to our dogs and our vet warned us..... The tube is meant for a horse - a one dose / one tube treatment, and the medicine is not necessarily mixed evenly in the tube. You could be over (or under) dosing without realizing it. Our vet recommended the liquid (injectable) and we now give that to our dogs orally (0.1cc / 10lb monthly).
The safety profile of Ivermectin is ridiculously safe. A therapeutic dosages is 0.2mg/kg in humans. The estimated LD50 is >15mg/kg (actual ld50 is unknown).
To put this in perspective, a 250lb human would have to consume 15 tubes of the horse paste in one sitting to get a 50% chance of dying... Neurotoxic symptoms probably start around 2mg/kg. This would be 2 tubes of horse paste for 250lb human.
Assuming your vet is correct, I could see how this would be a problem for using a higher dosage in smaller animals. According to https://parasitipedia.net/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=2344&Itemid=2996 it is recommended to not use the horse paste in cats for dosages above 0.5mg/kg.
Exactly! I take this and have given to many people who have quickly recovered from suspected viral infections.
Also works on cancer, which is what I had it for, originally.
Thanks, next time I'll dispense the whole tube and mix it up and discard the rest. It's so cheap, waste isn't an issue.
Thanks for the information!
Could you clarify if the 250-pound dose is appropriate for a person weighing less than 250 pounds? Also: if only a portion of the syringe is used, will the rest of the gel stay good for a later dose?
The plunger on the syringe has tick marks for the dosages. Yes I used a single 250, it won't hurt you there isn't much medication in it to start with. There is a cap you can replace the cap and store it. Check if you need to refrigerate or not, I did not, but used a follow up dose 2 days later. I doubt it will go back, it stores in room temp prior to opening.
Thanks again!
Just had an interesting experience. Went to Tractor Supply, and a warning sign said “anyone buying Ivermectin products for uses other than livestock would be “reported.”
We didn’t get photos, but another warning, taped to the LOCKED cabinet, said “products containing Ivermectin are NOT safe for humans and could cause injury or death!”
So we bought it on Amazon!
Deep State has its paws all the way into Tractor Supply lol.
Yeah, you can take a dose as a preventative every 6 weeks as well. There are many studies on this, and I handle more than that anyway now, I switched to Bimectin for all my herd animals.
Thank you for sharing! Is this something that the average person can go to a Cattleman's Store or Ranch Supply store and buy off the shelf?
When we made trips to Mexico, we would buy Augmenton and Z-pack at the Mexican pharmacy, to take back home.
You can buy it at any animal/farm supply store. I think you can even buy it online from them. The brand I used was called Bimectin. I"m sure there are many offerings. They are all the same 1.87% Ivermectin by content
