Tested positive on Tuesday night. Doctor gave Ivermectin and Zpak. I did not get sick! No fever. I have asthma so I occasionally cough, but no additional coughing. I feel fine, but lost some smell. Husband went to Dr. and was given Ivermectin to prevent him from getting COVID. He lost some smell, but no fever and no cough. He is at high risk. Coworker and her family are all positive and sick. There doctor did not give Ivermectin. No side effects from the Ivermectin at all.
I hope your smell comes back. COVID seems to hit the ACE receptors in the sinuses. Just think of what it might do to the ones in the reproductive system in men. I've heard of reproductive damage in severe cases.
Really glad people are waking up to the Ivermectin treatment. HCQ got blasted all year long for prominent political reasons, so I'm really glad they're at least offering this stuff without claiming it's gonna kill someone.
Loss of smell/taste could be zinc depletion from the fight. There’s a useful video on commie-tube (*‘you’). Search “Corona virus destroys sense of smell”. Might get it back.
It's interesting because you know the Zicam zinc nasal spray? That was directly linked to a loss of smell in people who used it. The tablets are fine, but the nasal spray was dangerous. I wonder if Zinc really is related somehow, but in reverse?
My mom lost her taste / smell a few years back from an unrelated cold virus. She's just now getting some of it back.
