We can agree to disagree. Need to know is the determining factor to grant a clearance and, until we know for sure, Trump isn’t reinstating anything because he’s not the President
When I received my Top Secret Code Word (TSCW) clearance, they took us into a room where a big man with an acre of brass and ribbons decorating his uniform explained a few things to us in no uncertain terms.
What was discussed was mostly classified, so I can't reveal it here. You have neither the clearance nor the need to know. But one thing I can share is that those are the two components to being in a position to receive classified intelligence.
Security clearance of the appropriate level for the classification level of the intel
The NEED TO KNOW.
The two are entirely separate and distinct. In other words, even with my Top Secret clearance I would never be allowed to view even Confidential or Secret info, if I lacked the NEED TO KNOW about it. This is the smart way to ensure the safety of classified intel.
I never suggested Trump reinstated Gen. Flynn "to be a General in the Military". It is, of course, a thing: as CIC, Trump could have had him called into active service and given any rank Trump saw fit. Fact.
Flynn never committed an actual felony. That was a trumped-up BS charge that we have proof was intended by felons and traitors within the FBI to entrap Gen. Flynn illegally.
You have less than zero knowledge of whether Trump reinstated Flynn's security clearance or not. Many officials retain their clearances after leaving their govt jobs, often for years. (I say 'less than zero' because you're pretending you do have the knowledge while having trouble in this thread distinguishing a clearance from need to know.)
There is absolutely no chance he has his clearance, he doesn’t have the “need to know”.
There is every chance he still has his clearance. Trump reinstated.
Clearance and need to know are entirely different things.

No. I will attempt to explain this to you.

Now you know.
I’m not arguing, I’m retired military, was on active duty for 20 years with a security clearance.
