there was no blood trail as they carried her down the steps, a neck wound that killed her that fast would have A LOT more blood present.
There was a trail but a very light trail. A slow drip of blood over an interval of several steps in between.
Their little squib didnt have enough corn syrup and dye to make a realistic blood trail or pool. Their main squib didnt seem to go off, so they had to wipe the little bits on her mouth
