I said some months ago where I compared Trump to a ... well, a Star Trek episode. I think Riker is doing an officer exchange program on a Klingon ship. And he has this exchange:
Riker: How'd you become captain?
Klingon: I was first mate. The previous captain did such-and-such and I realized he was weak. So I killed him and became captain.
Riker: Are you sure he was weak? How do you know?
Klingon: If he wasn't weak, I wouldn't have been able to kill him.
This is where my thought was. Trump knew it was coming. And he had time to prepare. Was the Deep State too strong for him? Maybe. That would really suck, but maybe.

This is a very good analogy.
Yeah. But it's not looking so good for Trump. Was he weak after all? It's becoming harder to see how to reverse all this.
