He's just laying out the perceived results. Basically playing them.

Raising the question of why they want to impeach Trump when they apparently won.

We all know what really happened but he can't use that here yet.

You have to admit, the politeness was refreshing, albeit sickening due to the audience. It was nice to not hear the hate speech and squalling and boo-hooing that came from the left.
