Regarding impeachment 2.0, just a thought

By allowing the impeachment of a former president to go on, this would mean obama, bush, and clinton could still be impeached. I know impeachment of a former president is dumb, but what if the trump team are entertaining this in order to wreck them later?

Or they committed actual crimes, and prosecutorial treason, aid an enemy of the Us.
