I got a request today on my phone saying, "You are currently receiving the Emergency Broadcast System alerts on your phone. Do you wish to continue receiving it?" then there's two boxes, "No" and "Yes".

I'm fickle when it comes to the arrangement of words, thanks to that class I took at college, "Interface Design", and study shows people would prefer the order of words to be "Yes" and "No" in that particular order. Study also show people subconsciously tap the first box because they assume it will be "Yes" when tapping.

This is what I found odd is that the order is "No" and "Yes" not vice versa. It's as if Google wanted me to subconsciously click the first box then I won't get the alerts anymore.

Good thing I always double check before tapping because I'm somewhat OCD and need to make sure I'm doing the right thing before actually doing the right things.

Google can go FK themselves. This is on a Pixel 2 XL phone, not receiving any system updates anymore.
