They voted to go ahead with the trial, even though it goes against the Constitution. So, now he can show ALL the evidence. GAME ON, BITCH, GAME ON. Be careful what you ask for!

Trump was impeached as president. The trial is being held after presidency, but the excuse is "well he was impeached while sitting as president!"

So not exactly applicable to Obama. And all it would do would make Trump ineligible to run again. Obama isn't running again regardless so it's not really a win in that regard.

His impeachment was for something completely unrelated. So it makes zero legal or constitutional sense. This impeachment is entirely illegal.
