Most of the Mormons I have known are good hard working and extremely faithful to their beliefs. That said.... There is specific reasons that you will not enter the Temple until you are eligible. Cut and dry, what goes on in there is not fully disclosed outside of the temple. To me it seems very “Masonic Like” but I am an outsider. There are many beliefs that fall outside of Catholic / Protestant faiths. My experience is that a Mormon and Non Mormon are not compatible as life partners.
I saw enough that I have no interest in their doctrine whatsoever.
But enough about me....
Fair enough, busted on my upbringing and fair not a difficult assumption with my handle to be SB. But now AOG, not that it matters . I do not hate Mormons at all they are as welcome to gods blessings as all are. I just don’t follow or agree with their teachings concerning the trinity, Book of Mormon, First vision, Golden Tablets and the JS prophet. I do believe Mormons seek to be god like,... It is the basis of their faith.
I'm an exmormon. Everything in the mormon temple was borrowed by joseph smith from the masonic lodges he belonged to. That's not debatable.
That said, like most things, the masonic rituals they perform are not automatically good or bad. It depends how they're used. They are definitely harmless in Mormon temples. They are very nice places to worship, ponder, and pray. It's actually one of the things I've missed most since leaving.
I'm evangelical man. Mormons aren't Christians. But I'm not trying to get into that religious crap here. I just want to know why there's a possible coverup with Mormon pedofilia in their temples.
There’s no evidence of that. You’re trying to get people to prove a negative. As an Exmormon all I can say is Ive been in every room in these temples and the only thing in the basement is laundry rooms and kitchens. All the ceremonies are done in upper rooms and they’re harmless and faith promoting (albeit a little culty and weird).
I’m giving you the facts. You just don't want them.
