It wouldn't work out well in the end if it were found out that he was directing them to be complete and total assholes. Plus, it's completely unncessary.

They're modern Democrats; totally corrupt and complete human garbage. Just let them be themselves.

^This. I've been trying to tell people all along that if it turns out he is behind all the pain and deception of Bidan's "presidency", people will be PISSED. And they may have a hard time trusting him again. I don't think he would play it like that.

I believe this is truly a case of the DS being themselves because they think they got away with it.
