This is 5 days ago. Just reading Juan O Savin’s book called The Kid on the Side of the Road and on page 37 and he says time of this writing 195,000 federal sealed indictments. He says it’s 130 times the usual number of sealed indictments which is usually 1,500. So perhaps he is also mistaken. To me he’s one of the few I trust.
Ask he mentions one sealed indictment can have up to 99 persons listed.
Some cases are legal proceedings and some cases are sealed indictments (most likely a minor percentage of the total).
