What happens when/if they make the minimum wage $15... and make it enforceable? And once we start to see the effects of that? Note I work for a smaller family owned business... they looked at me and said out right "none of us have really thought about that, but you make more than that"... though yes I do make over 15 its not much over, and assuming the effects are what they seem they will be... my wage will no longer be a comfortable living wage(hell it's barely a comfortable wage now).. so basically I was just told a cost of living increases hasn't even been considered and I'm going to go from earning a decent wage to a nearly unlivable wage. (Note: my position consists of multiple different duties that I've never met another single person able to do all three. Not bragging I just know my worth it would take two if not 3 people to replace me).

And this fact doesn't just result in "unforseen consequences".
Rather, these job losses, waste, hopelessness, and destruction are "unacknowledged consequences", that everybody honest knows are guaranteed.
But the Left not only doesn't care, they depend on it.
I'm in the Seattle region and while everyone screamed about the $15 minimum wage killing restaurants, they said it was a conspiracy theory and not how economics works.
Fast forward two years pre-pandemic and the same people were posting articles about wondering why so many restaurants are closing their doors... smh.
Sounds very familiar... because I probably don't live very far away from you. ?
Looking forward to our regional post-Awakening mask-free BBQ! Good times ahead!
