If you'll read what I posted as you were so kindly telling me that I needed to leave if I thought a blanket word ban, regardless of intent, was, you know, a bad idea... you'll likely find that I largely agree with you.
The point here, which evidently drove you mad for some reason, is that a "blanket word ban" was just a really ill-considered rule based on willful blindness to intent. And if we can't even discuss and reconsider rules here... yo, now that's a real problem.
Also, just speaking practically, leaving picayune considerations of prudence and justice aside, I have been quite supportive of and grateful for the mods and their efforts here. Not that you or your feisty little opinion matters much at all, but if the mods collective felt that my concern here, on this one issue, is unreasonable or incorrect, it is worth noting that there are many, many others on here who are even far more cheesed off about this than I.
