I'm going to guess it's around 1k since that is the most upvotes I've seen. Keep in mind that most people lurk for months before they join (if they ever do)

Similar if you google Facebook group participation it's mega low. I did not expect that. But as my mother would say. Surveys are shite because they are only surveying people that don't mind to do a survey. Silent majority scenario?
