If they were able to sue the plantation owner in Mali, I'm sure they would. But no US court would accept a suit against a foreign company with no US ties, for crimes committed overseas.

Yeah that's what I meant, that the farms would be in a different suit in the domicile country if there's a civil provision to do so.
