He just keeps getting more popular. I can't wait until he gets to be himself again and can speak freely. I heard he is meeting with Lindsey Graham soon to talk about the GOP. It's so disappointing because there are less than a handful of people in the GOP that have his back. I still can't believe Pence turned out to be a Traitor. I always thought he was an honorable man, but he is just as self-serving as the rest.
It reminds me of the play: Hamlet, when he confronts his mother with how he views her current situation: from an honorable man who was killed by his brother, whom she married, and thus ended up with a despicable husband.
"Thou has cleft my heart in twain.
There once was a group of men, quite aware of what honor dictated. Hence the declaration of Independence. How times have changed.
When it comes to Pence, I am not so sure to color the man either way, be it traitor or trustworthy ally, though I tend to lean in the ally direction, given the things he has and has not done. Maybe that is the work of the dirty rotten scoundrel, as he refused to trigger the 25th (maybe for reasons he had no support?), but allowed the process to play out and rely on parliamentarian opinion, instead of shouldering the responsibility himself. Yet, I am not so sure, that was a bad thing.
It just fits a little too well.
With regards to Trump: love the man. He taught me a great deal. Months ago, I was asked who was an inspiration to me. I mentioned Trump. The others in the group fell of their chairs! What? Trump? How could I!
But then I explained why and told them to watch the news in the coming 12 months for they would see why.
This morning, I received a text from one of those in attendance. He said: You were right back then. He now sees.

Wow. Love what you said about President Trump. I would have said the same thing you did.
