It was more than enough that if we actually HAD wanted to be violent, DC would be no more. The story that should be told is how peaceful and beautiful almost all of that day—and that crowd—actually was. I think both of those facts are the real reasons they are so scared (among other reasons) and angry (they didn’t bait us well enough!). What they’re saying about us is not just false but slander.
