Dave's demeanor on the X-22 Report, lately?

Is it just me or is Dave starting to get emotional? The past couple of episodes I've noticed an unusual level of animation in his voice. Normally, he seems pretty restrained and even-keeled but it seems like he's starting to get either frustrated or excited. Thoughts?

I was curious what others thought and whether anyone else had noticed what I was hearing. I can listen to others' opinions while still having my own.
