Dave's demeanor on the X-22 Report, lately?

Is it just me or is Dave starting to get emotional? The past couple of episodes I've noticed an unusual level of animation in his voice. Normally, he seems pretty restrained and even-keeled but it seems like he's starting to get either frustrated or excited. Thoughts?

Yes, snark sounds about right at times. I hope he's not getting discouraged. That would be a bad thing.
